Tom Gelbach, President of Answer Connecticut & ACT Teleservices, entered the telecommunications industry in 1985. Prior to that, he spent seven years working with Alco Standard Corporation and three years with Enterra Corporation concentrating on those firms’ merger and acquisition efforts. Subsequently, he spent two years with Fidelity bank in Philadelphia, PA. Since entering the industry, he has made eleven acquisitions: two in Pennsylvania and nine in Connecticut.
